Le Mans Kitchen Before + After

Remodels are so fun to share because the before and after is so dramatic. This kitchen is no exception. It is good that our ability to see past things runs in the family because this house was pretty dated when my parents decided to place an offer. The previous owner loved anything Greek and she stopped at nothing. Columns, painted murals on the walls and floors…not to mention the carpet and needless walls everywhere. The house had a ton of potential and great bones, but needed a keen eye to see how it could be transformed.

Here are some of the before pictures of the kitchen and dining room, which got combined into one large room.

We took down several walls making it more open concept, made the windows larger to allow more natural light in and obviously updated the floors and cabinetry. Here are some photos during construction.

I have a lot of favorites in this kitchen, but I think the winner is the honed leathered quartzite countertop. It is simply stunning against the white dove cabinets.

I also love that we were able to source so many items for their kitchen/dining straight from MegMade, including the rug, the dining table, the light fixtures, hardware and wallpaper!

If you love the look, you can shop it here!
