PUMPKIN SPICE, AND EVERYTHING NICE? PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE RECIPE

Happy Friday Y’all! So excited for this weekend to start. Joe and I just got back from Peru, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Expect a blog in the near future about it. But for now, it’s time to lay low, recoup, and reset this weekend! And you know how I’m going to start this amazing weekend to come, with a pumpkin spice latte! Yes! I enjoy my pumpkin spice latte every so often, but I came across a simple recipe that is amazing – and you just have to try it! It’s simple, quick, and is so so tasty! Check it on out below!

INGREDIENTS

  • Milk – I think whole milk works best.
  • Canned Pumpkin Puree – not pie filling! Just plain pumpkin.
  • Sugar or Sugar Substitute
  • Vanilla Syrup
  • Pumpkin pie spice, if you cant find it in the store, try mixing some ground cinnamon and nutmeg for the same taste
  • Coffee – however, you prefer. But a true latte calls for espresso!
  • Optional, but highly recommended – Caramel Drizzle, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Whipped Topping, and all that good stuff to put on top!

RECIPE

COFFEE: First, simply just brew your coffee however you normally enjoy it. You can have this recipe hot or over ice! Completely up to you. I find that a stronger cup of coffee works well with this!

PUMPKIN CREAMER: (This will be enough for up to 3 coffees, depending on how much you would like in your coffee). Grab your milk ( 1 cup), pumpkin puree (1/2 cup), and vanilla syrup (2 tbsp) and whisk it together in a saucepan on med-high heat! After that, add in the pumpkin spice or cinnamon & nutmeg, and sugar and whisk that in as well. Keep whisking the ingredients together every few minutes. When the creamer starts to bubble, turn off the heat and let it sit until your desired temperature.

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE: Take your desired amount of creamer, and add it to your coffee! It will be hot, so let it cool down a bit before putting it into your coffee. If you want it cold, let it sit, and then pour your coffee over ice in a large cup. Quickly stir the coffee and ice to get the coffee cooled down. While stirring, start to add in your creamer and quickly stir that in as well.

TOP IT OFF: Add some whipped topping, some cinnamon, or even some caramel syrup to enjoy the best pumpkin spice latte! Remember, this recipe is completely customizable, so if you want it to be sweeter add more sugar, and so forth.
