Oakdale Living Room Before + After

Having a store with a certain aesthetic caused people to continually ask if we offered design services. We would always help people in store design a room through pictures and emails, so after a while I decided I would give it a go. After all, I had just finished designing my parents house and had done two houses of our own. I am so glad that I took that leap two years ago as I have so enjoyed working with...

Trend Alert – Cerused everything

Cerusing is very hot right now and for good reason. Our kiddos used it to climb up on our...

Claire’s Transitional Hutch: Where Form Meets Function

We've loved working with Claire Staszak of Centered by Design on some pieces for her home. She sent us these pictures, taken by Carolina Rodriguez, of a hutch we refinished for her. Isn't her styling amazing?! The piece has so much exposed shelving, that what you put in it matters almost as much as the color and finish of the piece itself. Claire chose to go with Pointing by Farrow and Ball with dark glazing to give it that antiqued look....
