Featuring The Fox and She
Ever since Joe and I purchased our place nearly two years ago, we have been searching for the perfect piece to go against the blue wall in our living room! We had thought about a family photo, but our kids change so fast that we thought no, then we thought about something in a gold gilded frame against the blue wall would be beautiful, but then thought maybe too heavy.
Then one day, we were at the store and Blair, from The Fox and She, walked in and purchased a few pieces and told us about her blog! Immediately I looked her up and the moment I saw her work, I fell in love.
It is the perfect combination of fresh, fun and flirty and it was perfect for our blue wall. So we commissioned her to paint a piece for us and gave her the colors we desired. She produced this piece for us and we could not be happier. The colors are fun and bright and get us through those long winter days here in Chicago!
Here are some close-ups of the beauty she painted for us.
A little about Blair. Blair is a personal style and lifestyle blogger currently residing in the Chicago neighorhood of Streeterville with her husband, Rob and their shiba inu, Oliver. The Fox and She, the name derived from the days she spent working at home with only her dog who closely resembles a puffy red fox, features content on personal style, fashion, interior design, food, travel and bits of everyday life.
By day, Blair works as a WordPress blog designer at Leap Blog Design helping stylish bloggers build their dream website and grow their personal brands. In her spare time, she paints abstract art, cooks, travels — preferably to Europe, and works on her photography skills. She has worked with brands such as Anthropologie, Johnston & Murphy, Jones New York, Glade, Vietri and more.
Here is her blog, you should check it out!
In addition to her amazing custom paintings, she also sells prints. Here are a few of her available pieces! Drool…
And do you know what!?! One of our amazing dressers or buffets would go perfectly under her pieces and we can customize the dresser to pull out a color form her paintings! Just a thought!
