Get the Pin: Vanity edition

We’ve been doing vanities for so many people lately, that we thought it’d be a good idea to share some ways that our pieces can work for this function! You can turn lots of pieces into vanities, depending on the space you have- dressers, side tables, buffets, even desks!

Here are a few ideas based on pins we’ve seen and pieces we currently have in stock (and often have in our inventory).

This vintage dresser has so much character. But let’s be real- it needs some love! Once refinished, these pieces can look just like the one you see in the inspiration image. You could have it stained, or painted, but to get the look shown, I would stain in a medium mahogany tone to get those red undertones.

This is a very similar style, just a little more ornate. In the image, the piece has a white waxed finish, which we can achieve here! This piece could also be used to get the first look shown too. These are great for vanities, because you can store a lot in the deep and wide drawers. We usually make the top or top two drawers fake in order to make room for all the pipes.

We usually have a few of these dressers in, and have even had the exact one in the picture a few times. This is quickly becoming one of our most popular styles! These Frenchy dressers look amazing painted. I like to do a gloss finish to really accentuate the curves of these pieces.

And of course, we have to throw in a mid century one too! We have a couple of really interested mid century dressers in right now that would look amazing as double or single vanities. I love this inspiration image!

So there you go! If you have trouble visioning something, take to Pinterest like always 🙂
