All our items are on a first come first serve basis due to the nature of our business and size of our shop so we recommend you pay for your items within 24 hours of putting it in your cart. We do charge Illinois State Tax for residents. If you purchase an item from us and we will be shipping the piece outside of Illinois there is no sales tax. Our sales tax rate of 10.250% includes Illinois State tax of 6.250%, Cook County sales tax rate of 2.750% and Chicago’s sales tax rate of 1.250%. If you purchase a piece from us and it’s a custom order we require 100% deposit. If you bring in your own furniture for us to refinish we require 100% deposit. Custom work may not be cancelled once work has begun. Should you wish to make design changes, we are happy to work with you. All prices seen on our website that are customizable are only an estimate of the price. If you’d like additional finishes or work done on the piece there will additional fees. If you purchase an already finished piece the price listed is the sale price.
Due to nature of our pieces all sales are final. Please review my pictures and details carefully. Ask as many questions and request as many photos as you need to in order to feel totally comfortable before purchase, as all sales are final. Vintage items will show their age and may not be perfect. CANCELLATIONS: Can be made within 24 hours of purchase provided the item has not shipped or delivered. A 15% processing and restocking fee for unshipped orders will be assessed after the 24 hour period has elapsed.
Quotes given in our website in our listings are only estimates. Please message us prior to purchasing the piece for a quote. Quotes usually take 24-48 hours as we sometimes have to wait on the shipping company. We ship all mid sized items via Greyhound Package Express (small dresser, chairs, coffee tables, lamps, other fabulous small things.) Greyhound will drop the package off at the closest station to your address and will call you when it has arrived. You pick up at the station. Greyhound typically doesn’t take long – a few weeks AT MOST. We will need the station you would like it delivered to as well as your phone number. For larger furniture, we use a several companies depending on how much you want to spend on delivery and how fast you want it! We use only the best and most respectable movers that both of us can rely on. All shippers we use are licensed and bonded reliable shippers. We can discuss this further over messaging to see which is best for you. We are also always encouraging of you to find your own delivery method if you’d like! We currently do not ship furniture internationally. IMPORTANT: We are not responsible for in-transit damage. Please consider this policy carefully before making a purchase. Most shipping companies will offer insurance, so upon receipt, please please look it over carefully because after you take it you cannot file a claim.
Delivery Information for Locals
Pick-up in Chicago is welcome and free for any item! We also use a fabulous white glove delivery service! Two men will deliver it to the very room you desire it in, all you have to do is open the door! It is $80-$160 per piece within the city and suburbs depending on where you live and we can discuss delivery price for outside the city. We do offer bundle pricing if you need multiple pieces delivered. If you do purchase a piece from us and the piece is finished we require that you immediately set up delivery or pick up the item because we do not have the space to store the piece for you.
