Renovation Goldmine Episode 2: Mihalek Final Reveal
I'm so excited I'm FINALLY able to share the Mihalek's house! We designed this first floor for episode two of Renovation Goldmine, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The Mihaleks really needed a space that was functional for their family. We showed them that you don't have to compromise showing your personality and style in your home because of kids! Entryway:

Living Room:
Couch: This is one of my absolute favorite couches on the market. It's our Robinson couch in a crypton fabric -- great for kids, dogs, life, etc. This couch stands the test of time! Click HERE to shop!
Pillows: I LOVE going with custom pillows. They completely elevate a room, especially because you're able to perfectly curate them to complement the rest of your design. All of the pillows in this room are custom, and I think they add the perfect amount of texture and complementary color and pattern to the room. Dining Room:
Chandelier: This chandelier is another one of our most popular options. I have it in my bedroom! It adds interest to any space and is that unique addition you need to really make the room look complete. Click HERE to shop!
Dining Table: This dining table was restored in our in-house perfect brown stain. We found this table at a family member's house of the Mihaleks and refurbished it to save them money and stretch their budget. Want to refurbish a vintage dining table of your own with us? Rug: We knew we needed some color for this space (because we all know I'm obsessed with color!), and this rug did the trick! It's from a vendor we sell -- contact us for pricing and lead times!
Kitchen:
Black Splash Tile: This backsplash tile was a white scalloped design from Home Carpet One. I love that it added some pattern to an otherwise pretty neutral kitchen -- besides the highlighter yellow range and green island of course!
Island Color: We painted this island in Benjamin Moore Essex Green and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!
Range: I am OBSESSED with this range. We were able to save the Mihaleks so much money by refinishing so many pieces of furniture, that we were able to splurge on this amazing custom range. I love the pop of color, but there are so many different colors you can choose from. Click HERE to shop!
Island Pendants: I knew we needed big pendants to balance our the space, and our Ivy pendants did the trick. Click HERE to shop!
Sink Pendant: This over-the-sink pendant was one we got from Amazon. The quality is amazing and definitely a great option for a light fixture that looks high-end! Click HERE to shop.
Runner: This runner was another additional pop of color that we needed to balance out the white cabinets. Click HERE to shop!
Built-In Paint Color: We refinished this built-in that came original with the house. We painted it in Benjamin Moore Guacamole, which is a color I have in my own house -- it's one of my go-tos.
Bedroom:

Dresser: This dresser was one that the Mihaleks already owned! We restored it, painted it in our in-house Hepburn and changed out the hardware for a completely different look and feel. Bathroom:
Floor Tile: We got this pink floor tile at Home Carpet One as another way to add a fun pop of color.

Sconces: These sconces I also have in my own bathroom, and I love the look. It balances out the more feminine flooring with a bit of a masculine look. Click HERE to shop!
Shower Tile: This shower tile is a white subway tile rom Home Carpet One. We wanted to make the shower a nice neutral to balance out the pink flooring!
