Expect Shipping Delays Due To High Traffic Volume

Today is Small Business Saturday! I've always been drawn to shopping small. Something about the love and passion put into each item always made me feel so much more special as a customer. They truly put their heart and soul into their business, I've seen it firsthand! Joe and I have owned a small business for the past 7 years now, and we've met so many other amazing local business owners along the way. We support each other, we lift each other up, and we cheer each other on! I have so much admiration for all you small business owners out there.

In celebration of Small Business Saturday, here are a few of my favorite local businesses in the Chicagoland area I think you should check out:

Alice and Wonder

Alice and Wonder is one of my FAVORITES. I wear their Windy City Tee all the time! They're all about providing both uniqueness and affordability in each piece that they sell. That means you won’t find anything in their shop for more than $100 unless they really believe it's worth the money. They've got women's and kids' apparel as well as home decor and accessories. Alice has an amazing story, and she's a woman that I look up to and love to support! Right now, they're offering 20% the entire store through Cyber Monday!!

House of Shan

Shannon is one of my favorite people ever, and her business' message is absolutely amazing. I LIVE in this stuff. All of her styles feature an imperfect heart stitched over your heart as a daily reminder to.. live your passion, laugh everyday, love deeply, lift others up, and don't ever quit your daydream. Isn't that amazing?! She puts so much thought and passion into each item she creates, which shows through the amazing quality. Right now $5 from every purchase will go to support The House Of Good Shepard - an organization that serves women and children affected by domestic violence.

Cinnamon Boutique Chicago

Cinnamon Boutique is a super cute boutique in Roscoe Village! They carry amazing clothes and accessories for women. They also offer personalized shopping experiences, which is such an amazing treat during these times! I've found clothes for all different occasions. Whether I wanted something more casual or a little dressier, Cinnamon Boutique was such a fun place to mix and match different pieces and find my perfect style! Right now they're offering 20% your entire purchase!

Monica + Andy

My boys lived in Monica + Andy when they were younger! All three of my boys actually came home from the hospital in their outfits. I can't say enough about how great this brand is. They have the absolute cutest outfits that are amazing quality. Although my kids are older, I shop here for all my friend's kids! Right now they're doing 30% site wide and up to 60% off select styles. There's no better time to try them out if you're looking for the best children's clothes!

Twinkle Twinkle Little One

Twinkle Twinkle Little One is another amazing business that does it all! They have the most amazing nursery essentials and decor as well as other products for a little one! I think their initial pillow would look adorable on a nursery room lounger. They offer free shipping for all your nursery needs.

Those are 5 of my favorite small businesses in the Chicago area! I love supporting amazing people and businesses as much as I can. I always say that it takes a village to do anything great, and lifting up and shouting out small businesses that you love is just one of those things. Let me know if there are any other products you're looking to shop small on. I've lived in the city for forever, so I have so many recommendations!
