Our MegMade journey began when we had our first child and we needed a baby changing table. Our neighbor was getting rid of an old dresser, and we decided hmm maybe this can work, so we painted it! We had it in the nursery for a few weeks, and then one night Joe and I said, "We can do better" and we sold it! It sold in like 2 hours, and from there we just kept painting and selling, and it kind of just became an obsession! We had our walls lined with furniture in our home, and one day we're taking a customer on a tour of each piece and with each piece, Joe would say, "Meg Made this, Meg Made that" and the customer said "You know, that's really catchy" so we started titling all our classified ads as Meg Made! 

We started MegMade by painting furniture, we loved finding pieces, painting them and bringing life back to them, but at times we felt like we just couldn't get it right. But when we came across Amy Howard's paint line, it was seriously a gamechanger - and it just felt right. To say that we now have a paint line with Amy Howard is still so surreal to us, and is such a dream come true. We know how to paint a mean dresser, but we didn't have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to paint. And we decided, let's partner with the best than trying to reinvent it!
