Officially Introducing: Our Munster, Indiana Location!

It’s hard to believe our Munster, Indiana location has already been open for a month! As we’ve been working to get everything running smoothly going from one storefront to two, we were able to create a really beautiful space that we hope everyone will be able to enjoy with us! Here are some photos of the new store!
Joe and I are so grateful for all the support from our friends, family and customers throughout the whole process! You guys have been our biggest cheerleaders even when it felt like construction was hitting a slow point or the fear of the unknown of opening up a second location crossed my mind.

Mixing Old And New
This showroom is everything I dreamed of and more! We started the process of construction last March, so in total it took about a full year to see it come to life! We love that we're able to stick to our roots and offer restoration on vintage pieces (customer pieces as well as the pieces we have in our warehouse) while mixing it with new items like our customizable upholstery, rugs, lighting, decor and more! Stay tuned for a blog about all the new furniture we carry coming soon.
Our DIY Section
We are so excited to have a dedicated DIY section in our new showroom! Joe and I have tried just about every project in the book. We started MegMade by DIYing our oldest son's changing table, which means we hold a good do it yourself project very near and dear to our hearts. We have expert-level refinishing at the core of our business, but we also love empowering people to pick up some tools and do it on your own as well! Not sure where to start? Check out our Youtube channel HERE, where we give you step-by-step tutorials on tons of different DIY projects you might want to try to make your home feel one-of-a-kind (we started MegMade by Youtubing DIY tutorials too!).

Meet Our Staff!
Molly is our MegMade Munster Design Specialist! She helps me with all of our Meet With Meg Design Services as well as is a friendly face you’ll see when you visit the store. Say HI to Molly when you see her around the store, and ask her about the instrument she knows how to play (she plays the bagpipes!!).
Kyle (also known as my mom!) works around the Munster store, too! Let me tell you, she is someone who never sits down. You’ll see her cleaning the windows, talking to customers and all around being a shining light for the store! She loves to say she “Made Meg” (get it?!). Say HI to Kyle if you see her around the store!
Kaylee is our Media and Communication Manager - you'll see her pop in and out of the Munster location! She is usually filming a reel for Instagram, or helping us around the store greeting customers and helping with projects! She's worked for MegMade for just about three years, so she knows our products and vendors like the back of her hand! Say HI to Kaylee if you see her around the store!
Joe and I are always popping in and out between the Munster store and our Chicago store. I work at the Munster store on Wednesdays and Fridays and Joe is on Munster duty Tuesday and Thursdays. We are NOT used to not spending 24/7 together, but it's been so great getting to split time between the Munster and Chicago location -- we wouldn't trade it for the world!
